Psalm 51
05:05
|
|
||
Have mercy upon me, O God
And wash me thoroughly
From my iniquity
Against You, and only You,
Have I sinned
(My sin is always before You, always before me)
Blameless and just, You are found
When You judge
According to Your unfailing love,
Great compassion
(Rid me of transgressions)
Behold, You desire truth
Brought forth in iniquity,
You will teach me
Wisdom in a secret heart
Against You, and only You,
Have I sinned
(My sin is always before You, always before me)
Hear joy and gladness
Let the bones You’ve broken rejoice
Restore and sustain me
Renew a steadfast spirit
My tongue will sing of Your righteousness
I bring a broken, contrite heart to You,
O God
My Deliverer
Create in me a pure heart, O God
Do not cast me from Your presence
Restore in me the joy of salvation
And grant me a willing spirit

|
|||
O unrepentant heart,
You stumble in the darkness,
Yet press on unaware of coming fire.
You build yourself a home,
Set stone on stone, defiant,
Unheeding of His ire.
The sov’reign high above
Looks down upon the rebels
Who only by His providence still stand.
Though they revile His name,
The Molder of the heavens
In mercy stays His hand.

Psalm 23
05:05
|
|
||
Though I walk through the darkness
I will fear no evil
The Lord is my Shepherd
I lack nothing
He makes me lie down in green
He leads me beside the blue
Refreshes my soul
Guides me in the right path
For His name sake, for His name sake
You, You are with me
Surely Your goodness will follow me
Surely Your goodness and love will follow me
(All the days of my life)(Return to your rest, oh my soul)
|
||||
4. |
|
|||
Beneath a sunless sky
He suffered on in anguish,
The Lord of Hosts nailed fast upon a beam.
Suspended for their crimes,
He faced the rebels’ sentence
That they might be redeemed.
Hail the king!
Raise him high!
Majesty
Crucified!

Higher Than Heaven
05:27
|
|
||
Oh, the depth
of the riches
Of God's wisdom
and knowledge
His judgments are unsearchable
His ways past finding out!
For of Him
and through Him
and to Him
are all things,
to whom be glory forever.
Amen.
For who has known
the mind of the LORD?
who has become
His counselor?
Has man first augmented God
that He should owe them?
For of Him
and through Him
and to Him
are all things,
to whom be glory forever.
Amen.
Can you find out the deep things of God?
Can you find out the limit of the Almighty?
It is higher than heaven—what can you do?
Deeper than Sheol—what can you know?
Its measure is longer than all the earth
and broader than the sea.
For of Him
and through Him
and to Him
are all things,
to whom be glory forever.
Amen.
As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are Your ways higher than our ways.
|
||||
6. |
|
|||
O unrepentant heart,
Consider now the victor,
Triumphant over death, the king divine.
Examine now your ways,
Ere he returns in glory
to judge all of mankind.
|
||||

Psalm 116
03:33
|
|
||
Return to your rest
O my soul
|
||||
8. |
|
|||
Sorrowful soul, Garden such red has not known
Grieving His fate, deeply distressed from within
Anguish and pain, flowing from His prayer and plea
Mind filled with tears, ruptured soul crying aloud
Sorrowful soul, furnished with darkness and tears
He feels your pain, lending His ear to your prayers
Comfort is found; He holds your tears in His hand
Your feet are set; into a spacious domain
